ENCOUNTER

ENCOUNTER is an insecticide formulated with Cartap Hydrochloride 4% GR (granules). It is used in agriculture to control a wide range of chewing and sucking pests, acting primarily through contact and stomach action. It is commonly applied to soil in rice crops to manage difficult pests like stem borers, leaf folders, and whorl maggots. ENCOUNTER also has applications for other crops such as sugarcane, cabbage, cauliflower, brinjal, and chilli, where it is effective against pests like shoot borer, diamondback moth, and fruit borers.
